Possible Weather Event - We're watching the weather and will send out a message Sunday between 6am and 7am regarding our worship service. If there is no email then the building will be open and worship service will be held. Of course we leave the decision as to whether you feel comfortable to drive up, to you.

Homestay Opportunities - Great Lakes Christian High School has some short-term visitors coming from Japan who are looking for a place to stay. The timeframes are either January 20 to March 28 OR, a shorter, March 18 to April 1. What a fantastic way to have a cultural experience in your home! February CONNECT – Super Bowl Chili Cook-Off 🍲

We’re looking for a few volunteers to help us host our Super Bowl Chili Cook-Off on Sunday, February 8. If you’re willing to help, please contact Noel. We’re hoping to fill the following roles:

Chili Coordinator
A point person to track who is bringing chili and related items (chips, toppings, dessert, drinks), using the big whiteboard.
Set-Up Coordinator
Someone who can arrive early to help set up serving tables and seating for this large event.
Clean-Up Coordinator
Someone who can stay until the end to help clean up and return the auditorium to its original setup.

Fill a Freezer for Safe Families - This will be on Saturday Feb 14, 10am-12pm.

If you would like to help with a financial donation to help purchase takeout containers and groceries, please give to Jodie, or e-transfer to Angela at ange-cook@hotmail.com. If you would like to make a meal for a family of 4 on your own. Please bring it to the building Sunday Feb.15

Missions Ministry Update - A lot has been happening with our mission partners in the U.S., Japan, and around the world, and it’s been a while since we last met. You’re invited to join us for a brown bag lunch meeting on Sunday, March 8, after Bible classes where we’ll share updates and the latest news from our mission partners. Everyone is welcome—whether you’re part of the Missions Ministry or simply interested in learning more. For more details contact Don Rose or Jeremy Cook. We look forward to seeing you there!

Niagara Christian Gleaners - You are invited to join us for our annual Fundraising Dinner Weekend. The dates are Friday, 13 March 2026 & Saturday, 14 March 2026. It will once again be held at the beautiful West Niagara Agricultural Centre, 7402 Mud St W, Grassie, Ont. Doors open for the Silent Auction at 5pm and Dinner is at 6pm. Our guest speaker this year will be a representative from Hope and Healing International - one of our trusted distribution partners. Seating is limited. A free will offering will be taken. All proceeds go towards NCG’s Operating Expenses. Please reserve your seats through our website at www.niagaragleaners.org. Donations for our Silent Auction are also appreciated. Softball Team? - Are you interested in joining a Tintern team in a co-ed, slow-pitch, summer, softball league in St. Catharines? Games would be 1 week night a week running May through August. If we have 10 people interested, we will register a team! This league is for adults only (or those turning 18 in 2026). Let Megan or Devin know if you are interested! We would need to know by March.

Micah 6 Trip - We are headed to Micah 6 July 10-13 (Friday to Monday). We will be home Monday shortly after dinner time. The trip is open to anyone in the congregation! If you are interested in attending, please let Megan know.

Camp Manitou - Mark your calendars: July 31st to Aug 5th 2026 is our next adventure to Manitou!

Picture Bulletin Board - Thanks to those that have sent in their new pictures. New pictures are on the bulletin board with more to come. Margaret is still collecting family pictures to update our picture bulletin board.

Mud Season - With the wet and/or snowy weather coming, the parking lot becomes muddy! Please wipe off your shoes when you enter the building on the mats provided. Parents, encourage your children to do the same. Also, the exit door at the back of the Fellowship Hall is not an entry door. There are no mats there to remove mud/dirt/snow from shoes. Please re-enter through the main doors. Thank you!

Nonperishable Items - Giving More - For the month of January we are collecting canned goods. Anything in a can or jar would be appreciated. Remember those with food sensitivities or allergies. Everyone is welcome to participate.
