TINbits

Birth – Grade 5

TINbits have classes each Sunday and Wednesday. In addition, they are excused from worship every first Sunday of the month for Kids’ Worship, where they sing, hear a story, and do a craft. TINbits have their own events once or twice during the school year and monthly over summer break. The outings might look like going to see a movie together, visiting the local trampoline park, or gathering for s’mores and a swim at someone’s home.

EPIC

EPIC

Grades 6-8

EPIC (Extreme Praise in Christ), named by our kids over a decade ago, is our program for preteens. EPIC meets for class each Sunday and Wednesday. EPIC has a few annual events such as the end-of-year pool party, a trip to a Fall farm, and the Christmas play at our annual Celebration of the Season Christmas service.

TRUTH

TRUTH

Grades 9-12

TRUTH (Teens Revealing and Understanding the Hope), named by our kids over a decade ago, is our program for high school students. TRUTH has a class on Sunday mornings, and meets for 90 minutes each Wednesday for a devotional, game, worship, and small group prayer. TRUTH has their own event each quarter throughout the school year, and once monthly over summer break. In addition, a highlight of the year is always our Fall Party and Christmas Party. TRUTH also joins the congregation on a yearly mission trip to Micah 6 Community in Pontiac, Michigan.

Youth and Children’s Minister

Megan is passionate about walking deeply with young people and helping the hurting. Megan is in her 10th year of ministry, and her 5th at Tintern. Megan is from Kentucky and happily married to Devin. Megan has a B.S. in Psychology and a Masters in Divinity.
