Our Mission
The mission of the Tintern Church of Christ is to develop followers of Jesus together for the benefit of the world. Everything we do is oriented to accomplish that task through the work of the Holy Spirit in our midst. The vision for our church family is to accomplish this mission by being a people of peace to the Town of Lincoln.
First Time Visiting?
You are welcome just as you are to any Sunday service or Wednesday class! On Sundays you’ll be greeted with a warm welcome, participate in uplifting worship, share in communion, hear an engaging message, and have the option to go deeper in a class. On Wednesdays, you’ll join a class of your peers for Bible study and fellowship. There is no formal dress code and we have something for all ages!
What We Believe
We believe that this world was created by a loving God, and it has since fallen into sin and rebellion. We each participate in this rebellion, sometimes willfully and sometimes accidentally, but through repentance and a saving faith in God’s son Jesus we can all be set free from our bondage to sin and death.
We are baptised into a church family that seeks to become an authentic community of disciples of Jesus and we would love to help you in that pursuit as well. We believe that the Bible is authoritative and is God’s word to us, a witness, and a testimony of the Holy Spirit.
A Place for Every Child to Grow and Thrive
Making a safe place for kids to know God, love Jesus, and live guided by the Holy Spirit while in close community with their peers is a high priority at Tintern! We have something for every age and invest in the spiritual life at every point in our young peoples’ lives!
