40 Day Devotional - You are invited to join us as we embark on a 40 Day Feast. The 40 Day Feast is a 40 day devotional style book by Wendy Speak.
The 40 day Feast invites you to:
- Learn how to ingest/digest Bible passages for yourself
- Discover the transforming power bound up in your Bible.
- Apply its truths to your daily life
- Awaken a deep hunger for more of God and less of the things that don't satisfy.

There is a private Facebook group that you are able to join as well that follows along with the book daily, but it isn't required. The group is starting the 40 day Feast on Monday, April 1st. Contact Suanne Whitfield at suannewhitfield@hotmail.com for more information or to sign up.

Personal Evangelism Seminar - March 29-31. The FRIDAY (March 29) sessions will be held at GREAT LAKES CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL in the auditorium/ gymnasium. Please bring food on the Friday. The Strathmore congregation will provide coffee, tea, milk and cream. Registration starts at 9:00 AM. The Personal Evangelism Seminar is hosted by the Strathmore Boulevard Church of Christ. The speaker is Austin Fowler of House to House School of Evangelism. See image below.

Fenwick Church of Christ - An invitation is extended to a Good Friday worship in song. Everyone is invited to join us for acapella singing. Doors open at 9:30 am for muffins and coffee. Following a time of singing, lunch will be served at 12pm. Anyone and everyone is welcome! 765 Welland Rd, Fenwick, ON L0S 1C0.

Good Friday Evening Service - We are looking forward to hosting a Devotional Service here at Tintern on Good Friday (March 29) at 7pm where we will mark the events of the day and reflect on the spiritual significance of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. The service will begin at 7pm and be about 1 hour long. It is suitable for the whole family. If you have any questions about it feel free to contact Noel.

Great Lakes Youth Rally - Registration for the 2024 GLCHS Youth Rally is OPEN. Students in grades 6-12 can register here: bit.ly/GLYouthRally2024. Youth Rally is $60, but if you register before April 1, it is only $50!

Young Adult Pizza & Games Night - This has been moved to Friday, April 5! Young Adults are invited to Roger and Catherine Perry's home for pizza and games at 6:30pm. Bring your favourite toppings as we will be making pizzas.

Celebration of Spring - Our Celebration of Spring Potluck will be on Sunday April 7, 2024 (note, this is the Sunday after Easter). If you would like to sign up to bring food, please click here to go to the food signup page. A paper copy is posted on the wall at the back of the auditorium. Monetary donations towards the cost of ham is appreciated and can be given to Bethany or Margaret. Eclipse Watching - On Monday Apr 8th we have a once in a lifetime opportunity to see a solar eclipse right here in our backyard (weather permitting). The event begins shortly after 2pm on Mon Apr 8th with totality beginning at about 3:12pm and lasting for 2 and a half minutes.

If the skies are going to be clear we invite you to join us here at the church building any time after 1pm to watch it together. We'll do a quick eclipse primer (with some cool pictures on the video screen) before heading outside. Bring eclipse glasses if you have them. We will be building a cardboard box viewer and testing it out as we await the big event.

If the skies are cloudy we won't have anything happening here at the building (and I will be frantically driving East or West to try to get to a place where I can see it. After seeing one in 2017, I'm an eclipse fanatic now)

April Friday Night Connect - Join us on Friday, April 19 for Friday Night Connect, held at River's Edge Haven of Hope (1 Haldimand County Rd 17, Dunnville, ON N1A 2W4) from 7:00-9:00pm. We will get a tour of the facility and have a campfire. There will be s'mores! Please wear closed-toed shoes as they will not allow you to tour the facility without them. There is some outdoor seating for the campfire, but you may want to bring a lawn chair just in case! If you have questions, please see Megan, Kathy Whitfield, or Sandy. Service Sunday - Welland Food Bank - Bethany W & Catherine M are collecting donations to help cover the expenses of the turkey dinner they are preparing. If you would like to donate please see Bethany, Catherine or Margaret.

Bible Day Camp -

We are looking for volunteers. If you are interested please let Margaret know (either in person or via email at office@tinternchurchofchrist.ca). Registration for campers will open May 13, 2024.
Large Puzzle Pieces - We are collecting large puzzle pieces (ie. floor puzzles) for a BDC craft. If you have any puzzles to donate, please place them on the table in Megan's office.

Giving More in 2024 - Thanks to everyone who has brought in items for the month of March. We are a bit behind what has been previously donated in other months however there is one more Sunday to bring in your items. Coming up for the month of April - think Spring Cleaning. Bring in items that you would use to clean up around your house. If you need any ideas, check out the poster on the bulletin board between the washrooms.

Niagara Christian Gleaners -

Our Fundraising Dinners are next weekend - Friday, 5 April 2024 & Saturday, 6 April 2024. There are still a few spots available. It will be held at the West Niagara Agricultural Centre, 7402 Mud St W, Grassie, Ont. Doors open for the Silent Auction at 5pm and Dinner is at 6pm Our guest speaker this year is Mr. Jeremy Frith, CEO Barnabas Aid USA. Seating is limited. A free will offering will be taken. All proceeds go towards NCG’s OperatingExpenses. Please reserve your seats through our website at www.niagaragleaners.org. Donations for our Silent Auction are still coming in and are appreciated.
